Strength Proven by Practice: Huatai 40t/h External Circulating Fluidized Bed Boiler Project

With the increasing global attention to environmental issues and energy security, it has become particularly important to seek sustainable energy solutions as alternatives to traditional energy sources. Against this backdrop, biomass, as an efficient and clean new energy source, is leading the wave of sustainable development.

Huatai shares and Henan environmental protection enterprises have joined forces to jointly build a biomass energy resource utilization centralized heating project, providing steam for local people's livelihood and enterprises.The total planned land area for the project is 33,546.83 square meters, with the construction of a new 2×40t/h biomass-fired boiler heat source plant, including all systems such as production, auxiliary, and ancillary facilities. The biomass-fired boiler is the main component, with the main construction of two Huatai 40t/h biomass external circulating fluidized bed boilers, bag dust removal, SNCR denitration system, etc.

Upon completion, the project will annually recycle 160,000 tons of agricultural crop straw such as wheat and corn, generate 400,000 tons of steam, save 38,300 tons of standard coal, reduce CO2 emissions by 101,900 tons per year, decrease SO2 emissions by 12,160 tons per year, and decrease nitrogen oxides by 546.5 tons and smoke dust by 1,171 tons. This will facilitate the achievement of carbon reduction goals through the circular economy of bulk solid waste and promote high-quality development of the local economy.

Huatai's biomass external circulating fluidized bed boiler holds broad application prospects in the industrial sector. It not only aids in enhancing production efficiency and reducing costs but also helps alleviate environmental burdens and foster sustainable development. This product boasts multiple advantages: it features a steady-state design and operates with low bed pressure; employs core technologies to prevent wear and ash accumulation; and demonstrates remarkable high efficiency, energy saving, and low emission performance, potentially yielding significant economic benefits for corporate users.

1. Steady-state design, low bed pressure operation
Based on the fuel characteristics, a steady-state design is implemented to achieve low bed pressure operation, significantly improving the boiler's thermal efficiency while reducing the primary air pressure. Compared to conventional circulating fluidized bed boilers, it significantly saves fuel and power consumption.

2. Improved air cap for efficient combustion
The adoption of an improved high-efficiency oxygen supply hood featuring wear resistance, low resistance, ash non-spillage, easy replacement, and anti-drop properties ensures uniform fluidization of materials, stable and reliable boiler operation, and significantly extends the boiler's operational cycle.

3. Supply air as needed, with low-temperature staged combustion
Low-temperature staged combustion technology reasonably allocates the air volume of primary and secondary air and the staged feeding of secondary air according to fuel characteristics, independently adjusts oxygen supply as needed, and enhances the strong reducing atmosphere at the lower part of the furnace, effectively suppressing the formation of pollutants such as sulfides and nitrogen oxides, and reducing the initial emission concentration.

4 core technologies, preventing wear and dust accumulation
The core patented technology optimizes the structure and material selection of the furnace and tail heating surfaces, providing the boiler with technical advantages such as coal and electricity saving, high reliability, and low pollutant emissions. It addresses the common issues of poor reliability, economy, and environmental protection in traditional circulating fluidized bed boilers, especially challenges such as wear, corrosion, and ash deposition.

5. Highly efficient, energy-saving, and with remarkable low-emission performance
The boiler boasts a thermal efficiency of over 91%, with a reduction in plant power consumption rate of more than 1-2%. It features low initial emission concentration of pollutants, a desulfurization efficiency in the boiler of over 95%, and a direct reduction of over 50% in the original emission of nitrogen oxides, demonstrating remarkable low-emission performance.

The external circulating fluidized bed boiler from Huatai shares is an energy-saving version that has been developed by absorbing the advantages of circulating fluidized bed boilers from both domestic and international sources, and further improving and enhancing them. Measures such as reducing the circulation ratio and optimizing the structure of key components have effectively addressed issues such as boiler wear, coking and blockage in the return device, high initial dust emission concentration, and difficulties in slag discharge.
